On March 11, a seminar called "Fundamentals of Sports Law" was organized by the Law Club operating under the Student Youth Organization at the Academy of the State Customs Committee. The seminar was delivered by Farid Hagverdiyev, a member of the International Association of Sports Lawyers, as well as the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan, attended by the staff of the Academy and law faculty students.

Topics covered included the relevance of the field of sports law, disputes resolution in sports law, and the most important cases structuring this industry. Extensive discussions were also held on current issues and interesting cases in this area.

In the end, issues were raised by the audience were also discussed.
